# ExperClinic > ExperClinic: The Growth Platform for Medical Practices A patient communication platform built specifically for healthcare practices in Canada. Automates the entire patient follow-up process so reviews grow, no-shows drop, and dormant patients come back. No client-side staff time required after a one-time setup. ## What it does - **Automated Google review requests.** After every appointment, an SMS goes out at the optimal time of day in the practice's local timezone. Direct one-tap link to the practice's Google review form. - **Two-way SMS inbox.** Patient replies land in a unified dashboard inbox. Staff reply directly from the dashboard. - **Appointment reminders.** SMS reminders at 48 hours and 24 hours before each appointment, configurable per specialty. Patients can confirm or reschedule from the text. - **Patient reactivation.** Customizable SMS sent automatically to dormant patients on a per-practice cadence. - **Private feedback channel.** A separate path for patients who prefer to share feedback directly with the practice rather than publicly. Alerts the practice owner immediately when a patient uses it. ## Critical fact about review handling Every patient receives the same SMS with the same two options after every visit: leave a public Google review or send private feedback to the practice. The patient chooses. ExperClinic never routes patients based on expected sentiment, never filters which patients are invited to review publicly, and never makes the choice for the patient. This is the right thing to do, and it is what Google's review policy and the FTC's endorsement guidelines require. The value of the private feedback channel is that some patients prefer it, not that it prevents negative public reviews. ## Practice types supported Supports 91 medical, dental, and wellness practice types with specialty-specific defaults. Each type ships with appropriate appointment durations, reminder cadences, recall windows, and SMS tone. Sensitive specialties (mental health, fertility, addiction, oncology, and others — 28 in total) use a discreet SMS template that omits doctor name and any clinical context, so a patient's locked phone screen reveals nothing. ## Compliance Built in Ontario, Canada. PIPEDA compliant by default. Quebec Law 25 considered. CASL STOP-handling implemented for every text-message sender. HIPAA-compliant deployment available with a signed BAA for U.S. practices. ## Pricing Plans from $129/month CAD. 30-day free trial, no credit card required. Tiers include Starter, Professional, Practice, and Enterprise (multi-location). Same feature set across all tiers; tiers differ on SMS volume and number of practice locations. ## Key pages - [Homepage](https://experclinic.com/) — product overview and demo - [Features](https://experclinic.com/features.html) — complete feature list and pricing - [About](https://experclinic.com/about.html) — company background and product pillars - [Backed by data](https://experclinic.com/backed-by-data.html) — every statistic ExperClinic cites, with sources - [Blog](https://experclinic.com/blog/) — practical articles for clinic owners on reviews, no-shows, and patient communication - [Industries](https://experclinic.com/for/) — 14 practice-type-specific pages (dental, family medicine, mental health, physiotherapy, optometry, veterinary, and more) - [Compare](https://experclinic.com/compare/) — 7 competitor comparison pages (Podium, Weave, Birdeye, NexHealth, RevenueWell, Solutionreach, rater8) - [Sign up](https://experclinic.com/signup.html) — start the free 30-day trial ## Featured industry pages - [Dental clinics](https://experclinic.com/for/dental-clinics.html) — review automation, six-month recall, and family-grouped reminders for general, pediatric, ortho, and specialist dental practices - [Mental health practices](https://experclinic.com/for/mental-health.html) — privacy-first SMS that omits doctor name and clinical context so a locked phone screen reveals nothing - [Physiotherapy and rehab](https://experclinic.com/for/physiotherapy.html) — reduces no-shows on the appointments that drive practice revenue - [Veterinary clinics](https://experclinic.com/for/veterinary.html) — annual wellness recall plus post-visit review requests for pet parents ## Featured comparisons - [ExperClinic vs Podium](https://experclinic.com/compare/podium.html) — medical-specific vs generalist SMB platform - [ExperClinic vs Weave](https://experclinic.com/compare/weave.html) — review and SMS only vs full phone-system bundle, no $750 setup fee - [ExperClinic vs Birdeye](https://experclinic.com/compare/birdeye.html) — clinic-focused vs enterprise reputation-management suite
